Evidently she thinks that following the enumerated powers of the Constitution is “out of the mainstream”. No, you’re out of the mainstream, and never mind the fact that you took an oath to “support and defend the Constitution.” If you’re looking to go beyond the authorized, enumerated powers of the Constitution, you’re violating your oath. And the fact that you bring up Alaskan programs to help people doesn’t matter here because the states can enact any social welfare program they want because the Founders left those issues up to the states where the people in those states had a strong voice and influence on those policies. The Federal government though shouldn’t be involved in those programs because the Founders didn’t give that Federal government that authority. Please read some history about our founding.
The only thing out of the mainstream here is you and that is why you didn’t receive the nomination in Alaska. Go Joe!
