Rejecting the Healthcare Bill

As my colleague mentioned, Missouri passed Prop C which rejected that citizens must buy healthcare insurance. The people didn’t want this law but it passed anyways. Funny, when President Bush’s plan to privatize Social Security had the same amount of support as President Obama’s healthcare legislation, then Sen. Obama told President Bush to stop pushing what the people didn’t want. Rep. Nancy Pelosi said we needed to pass the bill in order to find out what is in it and that once we did, we’d come to love it. Well, we knew what was in it before it passed and now that it has, we hate it even more than we did before. The people don’t want it and state after state are rejecting it, yet the Liberals refuse to listen. Maybe they’ll listen when we wipe the floor with them and kick them out of Congress this fall but even then I bet they still won’t get it.
